Isometric Gameart

This isometric environment was created as part of a mobile game project, where players will restore a once-prosperous family estate. The process started with idea exploration and rough planning — defining the composition and layout to match the visual rhythm typical for isometric assets.

From the very beginning, the goal was to create cozy yet readable #gameart that feels familiar and engaging. I collected references from top-down management games and classic restoration sims, combining elements from European architecture and casual art styles to build a consistent environmentdesign.

Since the project is targeted for a #mobilegame, I paid extra attention to visual clarity at small resolutions. The entire scene was drawn manually using vector layers and textured brushes, with focus on clean silhouettes and modular elements to speed up the creation of future locations. This helped me keep the assetdesign scalable and adaptable.

Each object was sketched in orthographic perspective before being adjusted to isometric projection. Working on the propdesign stage, I broke down buildings into construction phases, from ruins to restored states, to match the core loop of the gameplay.

The buildingdesign had to reflect the personality of the estate — refined but a bit old-fashioned. Decorative elements like balconies, roof tiles, and fences were drawn with care to add charm and narrative details. I kept everything layered and export-ready as gameassets, so developers can easily integrate them into the engine.

Entirely handcrafted. NoAI
